Chris McKie, VP of Communications for Watchguard discusses the death and rise of the firewall to become a better business enabler when dealing with a rapidly changing threat landscape. Essentially the traditional firewall has now become a unified threat management appliance with many extra features such as restriction of social network sites, banning of applications on social network sites and data leak prevention through attachments in instant messaging.
